The Rain, Juhu
Rain, a trendy lounge bar in Mumbai city was aptly chosen as the ' Nirvana farewell to flying party' venue to mark the end of last season. A surprisingly large number of pilots and friends turned up to crib about the long monsoon and come to terms with mother-nature's ways.

Native Place sure became his home away from home. He has written a quick guide on going flying in India that will be of use to pilots and students visiting from the UK/Europe.

We have had a marked increase in students last season both in P1 and P2 categories.
What makes us real happy is that a lot of them have continued to fly and Gokul, Stan, Shubhang and Mahesh have grown their own wings :-)

We witnessed some awe-inspiring cloud buildup and many a magnificent sunset displays over the backdrop of the lake during the 4 monsoon months at Kamshet. That's what living at Native Place does for you - it puts you in the middle of God's glory! Native Place is open to pilots, students, friends, family, and nature lovers.

Last season saw Pendurkar flying from Tower Hill back to Native Place. Just 11 km as the crow flies but with major sink areas all the way back it was a first time feat in the history of free flying at Kamshet. Guests were amazed to see him appear over the lake and fly in all the way home.
