The Thrill Hunters had their fill of adventure and nature, taking to the ropes naturally and without hesitation as only the young children would.
21 -23 February 2003 Nirvana Adventures played host to the thrill hunters, a group of 9 children aged 7 to 11 accompanied by 2 adults. They came in from Ahmedabad looking for adventure. Arriving at 6 am after an overnight rain journey they showed no sign of fatigue. The magic of childhood – enthusiasm, and unbounded energy that they portrayed kept the 4 person adventure crew on their toes. The meticulous, varied adventure programming designed to suit young energy levels and the beautiful natural setting of Kamshet, kept the children happy and contented through their stay.
3 days of adventure programming – paragliding, rappelling, valley crossing, zoomering, rock climbing, trekking, knot tying, tent pitching, bonfires & barbeque, sleeping out under the stars and running wild in the great outdoors.
The Thrill Hunters had their fill of adventure and nature, taking to the ropes naturally and without hesitation as only the young children would. The paragliding tandem flights sent their spirits soaring and got them interested in the the winds and the birds thereby kindling a fresh approach to geography and natural history. Trust in others and their own abilities were a natural outcome of the experience and they departed with a promise to return for more.
"The children had a wonderful time at the camp. They stayed in tents, went trekking, swimming, enjoyed a variety of rope activities including rappelling and rock climbing. They loved the bonfire and the shelter building contest. It was the first time away from home for many of them, but the activities and the crew kept them engaged and happy. They all came away with new skills and confidence dreaming of coming back to learn paragliding once they were of age."- Saurin Shodhan, Club Group Leader, Ahmedabad
